Woke up with the mambo version (Perez Prado), but now have a LOT of versions, thanks to the Intertubes.

I can't belive I'm only just now learning about Carola Standertskjold. Stay tuned.

Look! Julie London.

And the Ventures, which unfortunately, is turning out to be the "Perfidia" that's sticking. Curse you, Mosrite!

D'OH!

Woke up with nothing, but caught this from Maggie this morning! "The Simpsons" theme song, acapella.

Dairdairdairdair-di Dairdair di Dair.
Repeat.
"Orange Fire," the Ventures.

Alternating with silence. I *have* been having vivid dreams lately, though.

Possibly Venture Brothers plus The Tick (same thing) plus parts of The Incredibles. All rolling into "30 Rock."

This is a very informative video. I'm Troy McClue...you may remember me from such films as "Milk, the New White Meat," and "Cheese, Please!"

Odd... this post from yesterday disappeared! I had the brushed drums from Blossom Dearie's "I Won't Dance."

Who knew? Here's Seals & Croft, "Summer Breeze." And look, I can't help it, I like this song.

Caught this from TCM's playing of "Dead of Night" (Ealing 1945) the other day. Sally Ann Howe says this very well at the end of her sequence. I saw this about 30 years ago and we can all thank Michael Redgrave for helping launch my ventriloquist-dummy-phobia.

Rod Serling swiped a lot of stuff from this picture.

Oh, and now all I can think about is the name "Googie Withers."

Gosh, drunks are funny.
