Shows class. Shows class. But look at Epitaph, he wins it by a half. According to this here in the Telegraph.

"Fugue for Tinhorns" from Guys and Dolls.

I miss these guys. I miss wanting to play the Roches over and over again, I guess. Caught "The Troubles" this morning.

Is that a badger on your head, or are you just glad to see me?

Sorry about the ad, but this is the complete video from my subconscious. Kajagoogoo, "Too Shy." Stayed with me all day.

Is remarkably difficult to find. Woke up with the chorus of schoolgirls who introduce the infinitely more available "Three Little Maids from School."

Here it is performed by the Askes Opera Company of London in 2009.

Ah doh no. "Rikki Don't Lose That Number" this morning, though mostly the bass line and the drumstick clack.

Between the miserable length of my least favorite season and the atrocious humidity, I was completely unmotivated to note my earworm. But it's cooler now and the steady hum of cicadas and air conditioning are over. For now. It's supposed to be near 80 today, but NO MATTER.

Because this morning I awoke with Ella Fitzgerald and the Delta Rhythm Boys singing, "It's a Pity to Say Goodnight," so here you go:
But I'm not making any promises.

I'm so glad I woke up with this song instead of the wretched, interminable soundtrack single from a truly stupid movie we watched last night. Seriously. I'm not even going to tell you the name of it.

Thankfully, Regina Spektor crept in and gave me "Laughing With." Hers is a breathtaking genius.

"Any Time at All" came to me in the shower this morning. At least the opening beat did, now I'm humming it. Hope you will too.

    Little Tunes

Every morning — or just about — I wake up with some snatchlet of music in my head. Some days it may take well past lunch for the theme from "What's Happenin'?'" to work its way out and I figure why should I suffer alone?

This page is a record of my daily earworm.
